Readers of this blog may not realize I write a sister blog over at GeorgiaMadeGeorgiaGrown.com. I just received an email that I'd like to share with all my blog readers...
Over a year ago, I ordered two name tags from Namifiers.com. Their service was excellent; their prices, very competitive. But since I didn't need any more name tags, I hadn't re-ordered. The following email is an excellent tool for seeking more of my business. It's always easier to sell to a past buyer than to generate a new client. Read this msg. Do two things: 1) If you need a name tag, click over to their website and consider making a purchase. 2) Think about your clients you haven't heard from in a while. What about ASKING THEM FOR MORE BUSINESS?
Camille,
Our records show that your last order was placed with us over 13 months ago. Being that far back, I can’t help but worry that we failed to take care of you in some way.
I don’t know how to say it other than … we want you back. You matter a lot, and I am ready to exhaust my team in getting you awesome customer service.
I’d like to discover what drove you to go somewhere else and offer a solution that really benefits you. Maybe you found a vendor that is closer; we could work out an auto ship schedule or waive the shipping altogether. Perhaps you found a lower price for your product; I say name your price and we’ll figure it out. Some bad product could have slipped through our Quality Control checks; if so, we can provide you with FREE pre-production samples until the final product exceeds your expectations.
Please understand that this is not a financial gimmick. We are the #12 fastest growing manufacturer in America, but you don't get to that point without taking care of people. Somewhere along the line we made a mistake, and like an old friend, I ask you to give us another try.
Attached to this email you will find a copy of your latest order.
My direct contact information is below. I will personally make sure we over-perform in your behalf.
Thank you for the work you do.
Sincerely,
VP of Sales
